It's always a great time when all the Starlites teams can come together to bond as a team and build relationships with each other. The girls loved their new STS Shirt the coaches gave them. We were missing a handful of girls due to school concerts, but the Christmas party was still a success.
The Twinkles exhibition team did a great job at the NV STYCC competition on November 4th. Our 3 year olds went out there and rocked the mat with their cuteness. You would have never known it was their first time. Way to go Twinkles!
LUNA has only been together a few weeks and they are bonding, building trust in each other and learning how to work together as a team. A handful of them have never cheered before, but you would never know it if you saw them at practice. They are eager to learn and working hard. It is going to be a great season working with this youth team.
The Nova and Vega team members were excited to be back together again at our stunting clinic as they start to prepare for the new season and they welcomed our new team members by getting them right to work on stunting.
The Twinkles are happy to be practicing again and the team has grown. These girls are so much fun to coach. As you can see they also love the end of practice when they get a snack.
The Southern Tier Starlites All-Star Cheer and Dance team is accepting registrations for our Twinkles Cheer/Pom Dance Team ages 3-5. The Twinkles team practices Tuesday nights at the Windsor Bible Baptist Church 6:00 - 7:30 pm. The Twinkles is a learning/exhibition team and will perform an exhibition routine at a local youth competition (location and date TBD). We start practicing August 8th. For more information, please contact Katie Legg at 725-8663. Or you can stop by our Dunking Booth at the Conklin Fair this Saturday from 12 pm – 10 pm to learn more about our All-Star Cheer and Dance program.
We are very excited to have Brian Howell working with our cheer teams on their tumbling skills. Everyone of our girls want to learn more tumbling so they can raise the bar competitively. I can't wait to see what they have learned by the end of summer for the start of our new season. |
Coach KatieI can't believe we are starting our 5th season. I am really excited for our 2019-2020 season. The Starlites have grown in size and the LUNA youth cheerleading team has proven to be a great addition to the Starlites family. I am really looking forward to what the future holds for this group of hard working little athletes. Archives
