Our Shining Stars Sr. Pom Dance team is made up of girls ages 10-14 years old. The team is led by Head Coach Katie Legg and Assistant Coaches, Kristy Medovich and Breanna Hull.
 Our Junior Cheer team is made up of girls ages 9-14 years old. The team is led by Head Coach Jessica Sherwood and Assistant Coaches, Katie Legg and Kristy Medovich.
 Our Senior Cheer team is made up of girls ages 10-15 years old. The team is led by Head Coach Jessica Sherwood and Assistant Coaches, Katie Legg and Kristy Medovich.
 The Sparklers team grew this season from 6 members to 14. They are a great group of girls who are working very hard to learn their pom dance routine. It is really nice watching them all work together. In this picture you can see them practicing one of their ripple effects. It is really cool when you see it in person. Coach Jen and Christie are keeping them right on schedule for completing their routine so they have plenty time to perfect the moves.
 Coach Julie and Brittany are doing an amazing job coaching these girls. I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were doing and how they did their pom pass perfectly. I am so happy we added the Little Lites Pom Dance team this year.
We hope you had a wonderful holiday and we wish you a new year full of good health, happiness, and success. We are excited for 2017 as our Nova and Vega cheer teams compete for the first time this spring along with our Shining Stars, Sparklers and Little Lites Pom Dance Teams. This is a picture from the Starlites Christmas party. We were missing a few girls, but as you can see we have an awesome group of girls who love to cheer and dance and work together as a team.  |
Coach KatieI can't believe we are starting our 5th season. I am really excited for our 2019-2020 season. The Starlites have grown in size and the LUNA youth cheerleading team has proven to be a great addition to the Starlites family. I am really looking forward to what the future holds for this group of hard working little athletes. Archives
