 The Shining Stars Pom Dance team made us very proud when they won Grand Champions for the Dance Division at Spirit Unlimited. We made last minute additions and changes the week before competition and they went out there and performed those changes like they had been practicing them for month. Congratulations Shining Stars!

Nova and Vega Cheer Teams at Shout! Cheer and Dance Competition in Buffalo. The Shining Stars had a tough last two weeks with adding new moves and changing 3 - 8 counts in the routine the week before competition. But they got through it and us coaches are very proud of them. So we ended practice with a few fun pictures.   It was an exciting competition for our cheerleading teams. Nova received 1st place and Vega 2nd place. Both these first year team did an awesome job with their routines. All the coaches are very proud of the girls accomplishments. They learned a lot of new things and worked very hard to perfect them. It is going to be even more exciting to watch these teams grow each year.   As soon as they took the mat they were absolutely beautiful in their bright pink uniform that sparkled. They did an amazing performance and definitely gave the crowd something to cheer about. I am very proud of them for all their hard work.
It was so exciting to see this team come together and watch them perform at their first All-Star Competition of the season. For 90% of them it was their very first All-Star competition. Their performance really showed how hard they have been working at practice. It was exciting to see their faces when they were given the 1st Place trophy. (3 girls are missing from this picture because they were getting reading to perform on our cheer team Nova).  These 8 little cuties did an awesome job at their first competition. They went right out there with no fear and had fun performing their routine. The crowd enjoyed watching them and cheering them on. I think they were more excited when they received a trophy that was almost as tall as most of them.     When mother nature, sickness and injuries take time away from your practices, you have to work harder when you do practice and that is just what these girls do. So PROUD of their accomplishments this season.
 Our Little Lites Pom Dance team is made up of 5, 6 and 7 year olds. The team is led by Head Coach Julie Balliet and Assistant Coach Brittany Rauchser.
 Our Sparklers Pom Dance Team is made up of 8 and 9 year old girls. The team led by Head Coach Christie Hust and Assistant Coach Jennifer Ackley.

Coach KatieI can't believe we are starting our 5th season. I am really excited for our 2019-2020 season. The Starlites have grown in size and the LUNA youth cheerleading team has proven to be a great addition to the Starlites family. I am really looking forward to what the future holds for this group of hard working little athletes. Archives
