Vega worked really hard tonight on their stunting skills. Many of the girls that were flyers tonight never were flyers before. Many of our young flyers never attempted a full before tonight. Some of our bases never lifted a flyer to a full. But after practice tonight you never would have known that. They all worked hard and pushed themselves. I know over the next few months they will perfect these stunts and will be awesome stunt groups.

If you ask any of our seasoned team members what word I don't allowed at our practices they will tell you the word "CAN'T". We teach the girls to be confident in themselves and that they can do anything they put their minds to and work hard at achieving. The little Twinkles are just learning about the word that can't be spoken at practice and how to be a team player. I was so proud of them at practice last night when we started to introduce stunting to them. They all were eager to get involved and no one complained about the position we put them in. They all worked together as a team even though they really didn't know what to expect. I did hear one "CAN'T" but it was a perfect opportunity to show her she "CAN". These little girls just want to have fun, dance, learn something new and shake their pom poms.

Coach KatieI can't believe we are starting our 5th season. I am really excited for our 2019-2020 season. The Starlites have grown in size and the LUNA youth cheerleading team has proven to be a great addition to the Starlites family. I am really looking forward to what the future holds for this group of hard working little athletes. Archives
